Camp Yampire 9.0 (Sunday, September 6th)

Join Yam and Pie, your camp counselors for the weekend, in an interactive, remote camp experience for adults, now in it's ninth session! And we're switching it up from our normal camp experience to a virtual STATE FAIR!

Are kids allowed? Yes, but this is not a kids event - we have excellent events geared toward adults to help you experience nostalgia, self-care through a bit of silly escapism, and most of all, fun.

Treat Camp Yampire like a festival, er, fairground! You log into our zoom clubhouse (for 9.0 we're calling it our MIDWAY), and we have breakout rooms available to move between wonderful fair-related activites, with something new happening in them every 30 min! Think contests, virtual rides, carnival games, wildlife viewing, corn mazes, fried foods, and more! 

You can visit the activities we host in these rooms throughout the day, change between them if you want to see them all, or just mingle and chat in our main room. Be as visible as you wish - keep your mic on or off, your video on or off, and we will even give you a Camp Yampire nickname if you're interested in keeping things low key!

We've got some amazing guest camp counselors who are excited to teach you about the things they love and are currently doing while quarantining, as well as some who would just like to make you laugh and brighten your day. Our guest camp counselors are big fans of the State Fair experience, and are bringing lots of unique talents and trades to 9.0! Think livestock viewing, corn mazes, virtual rides, funnel cakes, a rodeo circus, carnival games, art contests, and so much more! 

Since our GCC's are joining us from all over the globe, they each are bringing something that means "State Fair" to them. Some are teaching sand art, others leading a virtual corn maze. Some are playing live music, carving butter, and weaving on cardboard looms, while others are making candied apples and baking pies! So in essence, we aren't having just one State Fair, but a collaborative State Fair from all 50 states, joining together to endure, create joy, and capture those "fair festival vibes" on zoom.

Camp Yampire is a judgement-free zone and we welcome all who spread joy and light in these trying times.
